Regional Product Manager

The Operations & Product Manager is accountable for the overall shore excursions operational goals and product management for all regions. Leads the operations & Product Management team. This position requires good geographical knowledge of the world and ports. Excellent communication, problem-
solving, decision-making, interpersonal relationships, customer service, conflict-resolution, planning, and organizational skills. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, tourism, or a related field is often required. Work experience (5-10 years) of relevant experience in product management, operations, or a related field, particularly in the travel or cruise industries. Relevant knowledge and experience in the industry, strong knowledge of the cruise and travel industries, including trends and developments in the shore excursion market. He/She must have understanding of financial concepts and ability to manage budgets, conduct financial analysis, and make data-driven recommendations to senior management. Proven experience in customer service and the ability to understand customer needs and preferences is a plus. Demonstrated project management ability, problem-solving skills, collaboration and leadership skills. Must be fluent in English.

Inventory Analyst

A Shorex Inventory Analyst is responsible for managing and analyzing the inventory of shore excursions for a cruise line. The main responsibilities of this role include: Inventory management, maintain accurate records of the shorex inventory; data analysis, identify trends and patterns in shorex demand and make
recommendations; revenue optimization, work with sales team to optimize revenue from the shorex product line; budget management, monitor and control expenses related to shorex and ensure operation under budget; operations support, preparation of required reports and data driven insights to support decision-making; industry knowledge and stay informed of trends and developments in the industry and knowledge of markets and popular tourists destinations to optimize offerings.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve problems as they arise. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, tourism, or a related field is often required. Prior experience in inventory management, data analysis, or a related field is desirable, particularly in the travel or cruise industries. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with inventory management software and data analysis tools.
